Don’t you just love love! I do!
This week I spent my time in sunny Ohio! On my first journey west I’ve been to a Vineyard, been to an amazing Italian restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful historical sights they have around Cleveland. Most important of all, I blubbered like a baby as I watched a couple I barely know, get married. And when I say blubbered I do truly mean it. My quiet, stoic boyfriend made sure to tell me that, as always, I was showing a little too much emotion. Over this past week I’ve spent a lot of time making pleasant small talk with people I’ve never met and I’ve found myself getting quite close to them. Funny enough, the priest happened to go to the same college as my boyfriend, and they talked about it for hours during dinner. Then during brunch we sat next to another man who also went to the same school. It just goes to show you it is quite a small world!
Other than all of the awesome wedding outings we had I made time for cliche sightseeing. And just like my first trip to London, my main tourist attraction was under a complete exterior remodel. The James A. Garfield Memorial had scaffolding from top to bottom. Just my luck, right? But I still enjoyed it!
Well I guess it’s time to regale you with all of the beautiful sights I’ve seen! I hope you’re all having a great start to your September! Just take my word for it and go buy the tickets for that trip you’ve been wanting to go on!
